platform that inspires, encourages and guides modern ambitious women to live to their highest potential in motherhood.

Brand Showcase & Pitch Competition | March 9th, 2019

Don’t want to shelve your big ideas, but don’t want to dip into your kiddos’ college funds to achieve them?

Mama, we hear you.

Our Pitch Competition is the Mother Honestly answer to one of the biggest hindrances that stands in the way of any entrepreneur’s goals: money. More small businesses never get off the ground because the dreamer at their helm doesn’t have the capital to make it happen, and isn’t willing to risk their family’s livelihood to get there. (And, we’re on board with that.)

Mother Honestly, in Partnership with Chemical Bank, Build Institute, Bamboo Detroit and more will be hosting a Brand Showcase & Pitch Competition in March 2019.  We are looking for ambitious mothers like you who have business ideas, currently own a business or are looking to expand and scale their business.

The radical and innovative approach we are taking to provide funding for mother-owned businesses is exactly why the MH Pitch Competition have been dubbed the “Shark Tank For Moms”.

Our goal is to empower, elevate and invest in mothers.

Yep, you read that right.

Are you a skilled, high-performing and high-achieving mother who dreams of starting her own business one day? Have you made your way down a few of the avenues to acquire funding only to realize there’s no Yellow Brick Road taking you where you want to go—and Google Maps can’t figure out how to get there either?

The MH Pitch Competition process is easy: Write us a pitch.

Our expertly and intentionally assembled Mother Honestly team will evaluate it and leverage their talents to assist in building your entrepreneurial dream.  Funding is allocated upon completion of the application and pitch process, but if you’re not chosen for funding, you will be given constructive feedback to help you continue to move forward with your goal.

Six pitch-finalist will attend our Business Bootcamp to practice and perfect their pitch with top-notch entrepreneurs, incubators and investors.

Join 30+ vendors at our Brand Showcase where we feature mother-owned businesses. The Brand Showcase is a pop-up marketplace where you can expect a unique shopping experience, fireside chat, and more. Shopping categories will range from wellness, home, baby, fashion, decor, and more.

Attendees will vote and shop unique items supporting Mother Honestly and our goal to invest in mothers, provide more opportunities for mothers to scale their business and encourage mothers to take actions on their dreams. We will also be offering prizes to participants and attendees of the Brand Showcase.

Please Note: Once all vendor applications have been submitted, the team will carefully select the top vendors from each category. We will contact the participants directly based on best form of contact provided during the application process.
